BELLEFONTE — Juniata Christian boys soccer advanced to the semifinals of the ACAA boys soccer tournament on Thursday as they defeated Blair County, 6-1.

Julian Flores De Valgaz scored three goals for the Lions. Troy Hoover added two goals for JCS.

Zander Neimond posted a score for the Lions.

Blair’s Seth Nicodemus also scored in the contest.

De Valgaz had two assists. Neimond and Hoover also had assists for the Lions.

JCS goalie Micah Dressler tallied five saves.

Sayge O’Donnell had seven Blair County saves.

The Lions play Great Commission today at 4 p.m. at Centre County Christian Academy.

The Wildcats outscored Juniata, 4-1, in the penalty shootout.

Goalkeeper Wyatt Dessin tallied 11 saves for the Indians. Halifax had 17 saves in the title win.
