Mifflintown man arrested

for PFA violation

RICHFIELD — An unidentified 56-year-old Mifflintown man was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown at 3:23 p.m. on Oct. 1, for violating a protection from abuse order, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Saturday. The victim was an unidentified 57-year-old Richfield woman and the incident took place at Mouse Track Lane in Richfield, the report said. Police said the violation was confirmed, but the investigation is continuing.

Police: Terroristic threats against Beaver Springs man unfounded

BEAVER SPRINGS — Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove investigated alleged terroristic threats reported by Michael Edmiston, 63, of Beaver Springs, and determined them to be unfounded, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Friday. Police said the threats were reported to have taken place at 10:29 a.m. on Oct. 14 at 350 Edmiston Lane in Spring Township.

Beaver Springs male involved in three-vehicle accident

SELINSGROVE — Dalton W. Klingler, 26, of Beaver Springs, was involved in a three-vehicle accident at 3:13 p.m. on Thursday, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Friday. Klingler, who was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado on Route 522, on North Susquehanna Trail located South of Airport Road, failed to stop in time and struck the rear end of a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Jennifer S. Rodriguez, 39, of Selinsgrove, police said. The report added the Rodriguez then strike the back of a 2015 Toyota Sienna, driven by Cynthia A. Carta, 67, of Leck Kill, Northumberland County. All three drivers were wearing seat belts, police said, who added Rodriguez suffered a suspected minor injury and was transported to Geisinger in Danville by Dauntless Hook and Ladder Ambulance League. Keller’s Auto Body also assisted police.

Granville man arrested

for outstanding warrants

LEWISTOWN — A Granville man was arrested by Lewistown Police Department at 5:23 p.m. on Oct. 11 due to outstanding warrants, according to a report issued on Saturday. Officers said they observed Tyler Jabs, 39, at a gas station at 113 N. Juniata St., Lewistown, and eventually stopped his vehicle on Bratton Avenue due to the warrants as well as having faulty lighting on the vehicle. Jabs’ license was also DUI suspended, and this was his third offense which is a misdemeanor offense. The report said Dustin Jabs, 41, of Juniata Terrace, was a passenger in the vehicle, and had an arrest warrant from Maryland relating to an assault charge. Police said he was also taken into custody without incident and charged as a fugitive from justice. During the course of this stop, police said drug paraphernalia, THC wax concentrate and marijuana were located inside the vehicle. The occupants were additionally charged for possession of the contraband. Both subjects were lodged in the Mifflin County Prison, police said.

Lewistown man arrested for warrant, receives drug charges

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers arrested Anthony Moorman, 33, of Lewistown, for an outstanding warrant as he passed officers on a minibike, according to a report issued on Saturday. Police said Moorman was taken into custody on the 200 block of West Fifth Street and found to be illegally in possession of marijuana. The report said Moorman was charged for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Denver, Pa., male taken into

custody for having warrant

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers took a Denver, Pa., man into custody for a warrant while conducting checks of the Victory Park at 12:08 a.m. on Oct. 12, according to a report issued on Saturday. Police said they found a male and female in the back of a vehicle. Police said they identified the man as Josiah Ingraham, 20, who had an arrest warrant from Lancaster County for misdemeanor criminal mischief. He was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Mifflin County Prison, the report said.

Police cite 60-year-old man

for public drunkenness

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers were dispatched to Route 322 westbound for a report of a male lying on the highway near the Electric Avenue exit, according to a report issued on Saturday. Police said James E. Dixon, 60, no address listed, was found to be highly intoxicated. An investigation revealed that Dixon stumbled onto the highway and struck his head off an object, the report said. He was transported to the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital for medical care and cited for public drunkenness, the report said.

Handgun, bag stolen from

vehicle in Lewistown

LEWISTOWN — A Springfield XDE 9-millimeter handgun and a gray camouflage bag were allegedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 700 block of West Fifth Street, Lewistown, at 5:44 p.m. on Oct. 13, according to a report issued on Saturday. Police said the theft occurred sometime overnight the night prior. The report said a camera in the area captured someone walking around with a flashlight at 1:30 AM. The serial number was entered as stolen into a national database. Anyone with information or surveillance related to this investigation is encouraged to contact the Lewistown Police Department.

Derry Township man receives multiple charges after incident

LEWISTOWN — A Derry Township man was charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and harassment after a physical altercation at 3:38 p.m. on Oct. 15, according to a report issued on Saturday. Police said they observed Odell Brown, 61, engage with another male in a physical altercation. Brown began punching the male in the face several times, the report said, while the other male did not retaliate. Police said officers interjected and Brown was found to be intoxicated. Brown was transported to the Mifflin County Prison, the report said.

Lewistown woman arrested

for outstanding warrant

LEWISTOWN — A Lewistown woman was arrested by Lewistown Police Department officers for an active warrant for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance at 9:34 p.m. on Oct. 15, according to a report issued on Saturday. Donna Mae Sollers, 59, was exiting a vehicle on Valley Street when officers saw her, the report said.

Sollers was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a crack pipe, police said. Sollers was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and lodged at Mifflin County Prison, the report said.

Police team up to find suspect who fled off Route 522 South

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department and Mifflin County Regional Police Department officers responded to the 9400 block of Route 522 South to assist the Granville Township Police Department with finding a suspect who fled into a heavily wooded area at 12:12 p.m. on Oct. 16, according to a report issued on Saturday. Jeremy S. Dallmyer, 39, no address listed, had active warrants when he fled, the report said. Officers located Dallmyer, who surrendered and was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Reedsville man charged with assaulting another inmate

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers were dispatched to the Mifflin County Prison at 4:27 p.m. on Oct. 16 for a report of an inmate assaulting another inmate, according to a report issued on Saturday. Police said Dennis D. Duncan, 45, of Reedsville, approached another inmate from behind and put him in a chokehold. The other inmate could not breathe and passed out onto the floor, police said. Duncan was charged with simple assault and strangulation, the report said.

Mifflin man charged being

fugitive from justice

LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers charged Louis Rodriguez-Morales, 23, of Mifflin, as a fugitive from justice, according to a report issued on Saturday. The report said Rodriguez is currently an inmate at the Mifflin County Police, and officers received an arrest warrant for felony criminal possession of stolen property from Steuben County, N.Y.
