Think twice about throwing your fast food leftovers or whatever out the window of your car. Take it home with you and dispose of it properly.
It's a sad day in this United States when the TV, the White House and Obama, his staff and everybody makes more to do about Robin Williams ... committing suicide. You hear more about him than you do a two-star general that's got killed and our troop, our Marine that's in Mexico. You don't care anything much about them, but you do a ... movie star. Sad day.
The Kevin Ward Jr. accident is a tragedy. He should've stayed in his racecar and settled his dispute with Tony Stewart after the race was over.
I'd like to know why the mayor is not minding the store at the Lewistown Police Department. Why would you spend money that you don't have?
I was wondering why the state even bothers to post speed limit signs. Nobody pays any attention to them anymore.
No wonder the taxes are so high in the borough. The police department can't even spend within their own budget.
I think it's time for the mayor to step up and take control of the police department and their spending habits.
We need speed control in this local area of Lewistown, especially at the bridges getting close to Rec Park. I have observed many of the trucks and cars coming by there, they're not going 45. Most of them I would say are probably going 65 and 70 miles per hour. We need cops out there to take control of the area ... and give these people tickets.
I'm calling about the person who's called in about the dog in distress out in New Lancaster Valley. Why don't you call the SPCA? If there's a dog in distress, it needs to be taken care of now. Or unless you can call the police yourself, whatever, but call somebody.
