Accident occurs in Lewistown

Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pannebaker Avenue and South Pine Street in Lewistown Borough. According to Lewistown Borough Police, a Ford Escort was coming to the intersection, traveling north on South Pine Street, while a truck was traveling on Pannebaker Avenue. Police said the escort stopped at the intersection but the driver failed to see the truck, and pulled into the intersection; coming into the path of the truck. Police said both vehicles sustained minor damage and no injuries were reported. Assisting police on scene were City Hook and Ladder, Brooklyn Hose Co., United Fire and Rescue, Fame EMS, and Lewistown Borough Fire Police.
