I can agree with custodians and Estep taking a pay cut. I can also agree with secretaries and administration taking a pay cut. But how dare you ask teachers who educate our youth to take a pay cut?
We have a president who has refused repeatedly to federalize the National Guard and place them on the border. If illegal immigrants are able to stay, they will have an impact on education, welfare, food stamps and other entitlement programs. It's time to stop the illegal immigrants on the border.
America, the country that once was since Obama and the Democrats (have) taken over.
The Sentinel recently reported that the Mifflin County School Board gave the superintendent a new five-year contract at $147,100 per year. That's $735,500 over that five-year period. That's a lot of money. It does not take Mensa membership to realize how really bad that is. Why wasn't there a clause in the contract requiring the superintendent to live and pay taxes in Mifflin County?
Tit-for-tat. Really, John Kerry? Are you serious when you say "tit-for-tat" when extremists, terrorists are killing Israelis right and left? People are dead and you're calling it tit-for-tat? What an idiot.
To anyone who is paying fines or restitution in Mifflin County, please keep an eye on your receipt and watch your balances.
Hamas is a democratically-elected organization in the Gaza Strip. They were elected under George Bush who insisted that they have an election and they are no more terrorists than the Israeli army who as you can see is killing hundreds and hundreds and they occupy that country and they have for 40 years. Israelis need to get back into Israel.
I'd like to know where the Environmental Protection Agency is on this manure that you can't walk anywhere in downtown Lewistown without smelling manure. ... I can't walk except for around town with my oxygen and I gotta put up with this smell. ... So, there should be a limit on how much of that ... liquid manure that these farmers can put on their pasture. There's no reason to smell that in downtown Lewistown.
