Hit and run - 4:35 p.m. - July 10 - Police said they were dispatched to the Top Star gas station on West Market Street, Beavertown, for a report of a hit and run. According to the report, police learned that a dump truck leaving the parking lot hit a sign, causing damage to the sign. Police said the operator failed to stop, leaving the scene. According to the report, during the investigation, police learned that Glen Peachey, 33, of Mill Creek, was the operator of the truck.
