U.S. Highway 322, near Hellertown Road, was closed for four hours Tuesday when a tractor trailer overturned, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown. Police said Terrence Willis, 34, of Mifflintown, was traveling in a 2000 Kenworth tractor trailer when he swerved to miss a deer and lost control, flipping the truck and trailer onto its left side, causing it to lose a coil of steel. According to the report, the vehicle came to a stop, blocking both eastbound lanes of traffic. Police said the coil of steel hit and damaged about 240 feet of guide rail before coming to a stop in the grass median. According to the report, there were no injuries.
