DUI - July 12 - Police said they arrested Dustin Snyder, 28, of Lewistown, after he was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be intoxicated. According to a report, blood results revealed his blood alcohol content to be .15 percent and charges will be filed at Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller's office.
Retail theft - July 21 - Police arrested Lisa Young, 52, of Lewistown, for theft at Walmart. According to a report, Young was seen placing items into her bag and tried to leave the store without paying for them. Police said charges have been filed through Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller's office.
Riding a train without permission - July 21 - Police said Antonio Dunn, 54, of Berkley, Michigan, was arrested for riding a Norfolk Southern Train without permission. According to a report, representatives from Norfolk Southern requested police meet a train at the Roundhouse Road crossing as they had discovered Dunn in one of their engines. Police said Dunn was taken into custody without incident and charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller's office.
Interference with custody of a child - July 22 - Police said they arrested Michael Myers, 20, of Lewistown, after he allegedly took a 15-year-old female to his home from her home. According to a report, when she was later reported missing, Myers was questioned and he denied that she was there. Police said they were called back to Myers home a short time later and found the girl there. According to a report, Myers then admitted to police that he had lied about her whereabouts. Police said charges of concealment of the whereabouts of a child and interference with custody of children were filed against Myers. According to the report, Myers was picked up on a warrant, arraigned and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $35,000 bail.

DUI - 11:45 p.m. - June 7 - Police said charges of driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person, maximum speed limits, reckless driving and restraint systems were filed against Dustin Scaife, 22, of Burnt Cabins, following a traffic stop. According to a report, Scaife allegedly was traveling 94 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone with a passenger in the truck and was found to have a blood alcohol content of .145 percent.

DUI - 12:53 p.m. - July 2 - Police said Matthew Dunmire, 34, of McVeytown, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was in possession of paraphernalia in the area of U.S. route 522 at Robinwood Avenue. According to a report, charges of driving under the influence were filed through Magisterial District Judge Aaron L. Gingrich's office.
