I don't understand the hype about the World Cup soccer match because from what I've seen, it's five minutes of excitement surrounded by 85 minutes of total boredom.
A portion of the fines collected for welfare fraud should go toward the purchase of new American flags that are old, tattered and have frayed edges similar to the one that flies outside of our local assistance office.
Thanks to Reedsville Volunteer Fire Company: Teresa, Matt, Joe and Chris. Pool water with no notice on a Friday? What a company. Good luck with your new house. Kay and Chuck, thanks.
I was calling about the teenage pregnancy issue. What people in the community don't realize is that the women's health service did an hour of education with every teen that came there. And they covered birth control, talking to parents, abstinence and STDs. And they closed a year ago without a whimper from this community and that's just really a shame because that's when the pregnancy numbers began to rise with teenagers.
A huge thank you to Mike Kleck and his crew for a wonderful job at the Monroe Park in Port Royal. Your extra effort and donated materials to make the park extra nice is greatly appreciated by the residents of Port Royal.
Totally outrageous - an American Marine still in prison in Mexico. What's Obama do? Goes on fundraisers. Inept. Here's a thought: Since he loves trading for prisoners, let's trade all these illegal immigrants for our jailed American Marine.
