LEWISTOWN - Wladislawa Wilske, 95, of Lewistown, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014, at her home.
Born on Oct. 2, 1918, in Wischerhauson, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Sophie (Olzewska) Weycht.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gunter Richard Wilske, on Nov. 3, 1996.
She is survived by: a daughter, Marion Wilson, of Lewistown; grandchildren, John G. Wilson Jr. and companion, Dora Rogers, Richard G. Wilson and companion, Denise Laub, and Vicki L. Osman and husband, Robert A., all of Lewistown, and Lisa A. Maben and husband, Barry L., of Reedsville; great-grandchildren, Rhonda L. Barlow and husband, Clayton, and Justin R. Snyder and companion, Destiny, both of North Carolina, Walter A. Snyder, and Robert S. Snyder, both of Lewistown, Christopher A. Snyder and wife, Emma, of North Carolina, Zachery A. Maben, of Reedsville, Ryan T. Wilson, and Richard G. Wilson, both of Florida, and Ericka R. Wilson, of Lewistown; and great-great-grandchild- ren, Olivia, Ava, Jackson, and Jude Barlow, and Erik, Dylan and Nathan Snyder.
Earlier in life, Wladislawa was a chef and owner of a convalescent home.
She was an accomplished self-made business woman who loved to travel. In 2010, she moved from Berlin, Germany, to Pennsylvania to be with her family.
Her family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
