I received a letter from Granville Township stating that I need to cut my grass or face a $1,000 fine and/or 30 days in jail. What I like to know is what they are going to do about the weeds along the road?
Do not worry about Hillary Clinton running for President in 2016. Two more years of running this country, President Obama will have this country destroyed. There would be nothing for Hillary to run for.
This is about Oliver Township. I live in Little Kansas and today it is raining and foggy. I just wonder if Oliver Township doesn't have the money to paint lines on the roads? From Little Kansas, Kansas and Furnace Road there are no white or yellow lines anywhere. You can't see the road. I almost hit the guard rail and two cars coming.
When are you educated people who voted for Obama for the second time going to wake up? Now look today over in Iraq, Romney was right. This is the second time within a week that Romney was right and predicted it. Obama said no, no, no and look who's wrong again. Look at our country. This guy is weak. This is the guy that's going to protect our country? We need to take another look here in 2016 and clean house. God bless America, and God bless those who believe in America's spirit.
Both the Mifflin and Juniata County School Boards are out of control with their current spending sprees. Examples are the extravagant geothermal heating systems that are complicated and rarely bring projected savings as well, and extravagant curriculum programs. After higher tax increases they need to be put on a fiscal leash. Their actions are cruel, especially to those elders on fixed incomes. Isn't anyone going to take control here and be sensible instead of mean-spirited?
Children are crossing our borders in huge numbers. Is there any thought given to disease they may be carrying when they cross the border?
There are young boys, probably 8, 9 and 10 years-old, riding small motorbikes on the streets in Burnham. Apparently they're not old enough, since they are not 16 years old and have a driver's license. Regional Police, you need to be watching the streets, especially Seventh and Eighth Avenue in Burnham, before these children get hurt.
Just to take the traditional Mifflin County argument and turn it on conservative. If you don't like same-sex marriages, move to somewhere they don't have it, like Uganda.
What is up with that temporary bridge in Reedsville? Every time we go across it, it gets worse and worse. You can see where the lines have grooves like the bridge has shifted. Can somebody fix that?
