This is regarding the cancellation of Mifflin County High School graduation on June 4. This is absolutely ridiculous. We pay for a multi-million-dollar school and you cancel graduation on the chance that the sky looks threatening and it may rain. You know some people work shift work and can't be there tomorrow. Now you have taken away the joy of the parents of seeing their child graduate because it may rain.
Editor's note: Mifflin County High School graduation was postponed until 6 p.m. tonight at Mitchell Field in Lewistown. If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the MCHS gymnasium and will be open only to ticket holders. Anyone without a ticket would be able to view a closed-circuit broadcast of the event in the school auditorium or cafeteria.
Today (people) showed up at my house and tried to get me to join their church. I haven't had any gay people come out and try to get me to join their club, so who really has an agenda?
This is for the person who called in about how bad the town looked. I bet they should clean their glasses then come back into town. I bet they would be amazed how nice it looks.
I went to the Armagh Township meeting for the first time. What I heard was concerned citizens asking questions. What I saw is a supervisor smirking at people when they were asking their questions.
