BELLEVILLE - Jack R. Bowsman, 88, of McClure, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014, at his daughter's home, in Belleville.
Born July 16, 1925, in Atkinson Mills, he was the son of the late Cloyd and Carrie (Rosenberry) Bowsman.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Hazel M. (Fry) Bowsman; three brothers; and two sisters.
Jack is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Himes and husband, John, of Belleville, Tammy Briggs and companion, Clair Setzler, of Lewistown, Lynn Bowsman and wife, Michelle, of Belleville, Tim Bowsman and Pam, of Belleville, and Sandra Criley and companion, Keith Rhodes, of Lewistown; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Jack had been employed at the American Viscose Corporation in Lewistown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in the yard.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Dormantown Lutheran Cemetery in McClure, with the Rev. John Walters officiating.
His family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
