MIFFLINTOWN - Timothy Allen Swailes, 54, of Mifflintown, passed away Wednesday evening, May 14, 2014, at his home surrounded by his fiance, his daughters and family.

Born Dec. 4, 1959, in Mifflin, he is the son of Warren Sr. and Gloria Swailes, of Mifflintown.

Also surviving are: his fiance, Brenda Brothers, of Mifflintown; two daughters, Misty Walters and fiance, Jeremy Snyder, of Yeagertown, and Megan Diven and husband, Larry Jr. of Thompsontown; his fiance's three children, Marcus, Madison and Moriah Brothers, of Mifflintown; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Astian and Arizona Walters, Benjamin and Alexander Snyder, and Shelby and Landon Diven; his maternal grandmother, Wilma Heaps, of Mifflin; five brothers and two sisters, Warren Swailes Jr. and wife, Jodi, Tom Swailes and wife, Kathy, Don Swailes and wife, Patty, and Deb Ross and husband, Mike, all of Mifflintown, Kathy Marshall and husband, Walter, of Mifflin, Sam Swailes and wife, Stacy, and Steve Swailes and wife, Sara, all of McClure; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a 1978 graduate of Juniata High School and had worked as a maintenance manager at Probuilt Homes and Excel Homes.

He loved spending time with his family, his friends and his grandchildren. He thoroughly enjoyed attending auctions, kayaking with family and taking long rides on his Harley motorcycle with his love, Brenda. He will be greatly missed by his dog, Dutchess, who never left his side for 14 years. His smile and kind heart will be missed by all who knew him.

His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 19, at Guss Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Bobby Seiber officiating. Interment will be in Thompsontown Lutheran Cemetery.

There will be a viewing from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice: The Bridge, 305 4th St. Pleasant Acres, Lewistown, PA 17044.
