GRANVILLE - Betty H. Stewart, 89, formerly of Elm Drive, Lewistown, died at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Malta Home, Granville.
Born on Oct. 19, 1924, in Gearhartville, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Mary (Crain) Habbershon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Stewart, on Dec. 30, 2010; infant daughter, Kathleen Stewart; grandson, Ethan Herriman; one brother, Joseph Habbershon; and two sisters, Eleanor Miller and Kathleen Durst.
Betty is survived by: her children, Linda "Jeanne" Flanagan and husband, Lewis "Gene," of Lewistown, Barbara Herriman and husband, Earnest, of Cogan Station, and Stephen Stewart and wife, Lynn, of Oldsmar, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Randall Flanagan and wife, Lisa, Mark Flanagan and wife, Debbie, Nathan Flanagan and wife, Janel, Beth Smith and husband, Vince, Jarod Stewart and wife, Erin, Shay Houser and husband, Jim, and Kasey Stewart; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Lester Habbershon Jr., and wife, Carole, of Denver, Pa.
Earlier in life, she worked at Goss's Candy.
She was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April, 11, 2014, at Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, with the Rev. John Looney officiating. Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
A viewing will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Friday, at the church.
