I would like to know whose job it is to pick up the deer along the highway, the Pennsylvania Game Commission or the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Editor's note: According to the Game Commission's Southcentral Region Office in Huntingdon, the answer is "both." If the road is a state road, PennDOT is responsible for removing dead deer. On any other road, the Game Commission gets the call.
