Donald L. ‘Donnie’ Snook

McCLURE - Donald L. "Donnie" Snook, 60, of McClure, died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at his home.

Born Sept. 21, 1953, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Aurie A. and Betty M. (Pearson) Snook.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Carole Ann Snook Walker.

He is survived by his nephews, Joseph and Craig Walker, both of Mifflintown.

Donnie was a graduate of Penn Highlands High School Lewistown Campus and had worked for more than 25 years at the Hillside Market in McClure.

He attended the Manbeck Mennonite Church in Beaver Springs.

Donnie was a wonderful man, always enjoyed helping people in any way and tried to make everyone feel special.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Lind Memorial Cemetery in Lewistown, with Pastor Jimmy Neimond officiating.

Memorial contributions in Donnie's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or Manbeck Mennonite Church, 13274 Rte. 235, Beaver Springs, PA 17812.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
