I'm calling in disagreement to the $132 a quarter for the sewer in Derry Township. My wife and I work eight to 10 hours a day, are away from home that whole time, do not use the restrooms at all, yet families of six and seven that have four or five children at home using the system... It should be on the amount of people in the home or by the water used. This rate is totally unsatisfactory.
I live in Milford Township in Juniata County in the Rockville area. My sewer bill for three months is $195 and this is beyond ridiculous. I don't know how we could get any relief. I've been on a fixed income for 23 years and it definitely is over and above ridiculous.
Can you imagine Obama's EPA is trying to come up with a way to control the flatulence from cows? They say that this is the No. 1 polluter of our air in America today. Trying to control gas from cows? I think they better get their heads straight here somehow.
First it was the Mifflin County School District, and now it's the (Geisinger)-Lewistown Hospital squeezing the last drop of blood out of those who are on the lowest wage scale of these organizations. How cruel.
Will the owners on Lockport Road that let their garbage blow all over the road please clean it up? Thank you.
