LEWISTOWN - Donald L. "Sonny" Fultz, 81, of Lewistown, joined his wife Charlotte Elaine (Bohn) Fultz of 57 years, just two weeks after her passing, at 11:16 a.m. March 28, 2014, at his home.
Born on Nov. 5, 1932, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Arthur A. Fultz and Alice Virginia (Miller) Botteicher and stepfather John Botteicher.
In addition to his wife and parents, Sonny was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Kay Deckard and Donna Mae Robinson.

Sonny is survived by: his sons, Danny Fultz and wife, Karyn, of Carlisle, Dane Fultz and Scott Fultz, both of Lewistown; five granddaughters, Megan, Erica, Alyssa, Alexandra and MaKenna Fultz; and six sisters, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Walker, of York, Betty Jane "Janie" Wagner, of Lewistown, Delores Mae Glant, formerly of Harrisburg, Jacqueline Virginia Eckert and husband, Harvey, Shirley Ann Dumm, both of Lewistown, and Nancy Jean Wickenheiser and husband, Richard, of Dover.
He served in the U.S. Army in the 111th Airborne Division and successfully completed the Basic Airborne Course at Fort Benning, Ga., as a qualified parachutist.
Earlier in life, he worked as a clerk at the U.S. Post Office.
He was a Methodist by faith.
Sonny was a warm and caring person to everyone he met. He made sure he told his three boys after their mother died how much he loved them and how proud he was of each of them. He loved his wife with all his heart. Sonny enjoyed life and he was the "jokester" in the family. Love and laughter filled their home. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Charles Hershberger officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Interment with VFW Post No. 7011 honors will take place in Mount Rock Cemetery.
