Karen Hack, standing, of the Juniata 4-H Seeing Eye Puppy Club describes details of the club to members of the Lewistown Knitting Circle, from left, Carlene Hack, Michele Hopper, Saundra Showers, Nancy Secrest and Ellie Prizer, Monday evening in the Highland Park section of Lewistown. The knitting circle is working on a project making purple dish cloths with cancer ribbon patterns for the Seeing Eye Puppy Club’s Relay for Life team. The dish cloths will be one of the items added to bags given to the volunteers. Any extra dish cloths will be sold by the club to add to their donation. The Lewistown Knitting Club is open to knitters, crocheters and weavers of any skill level from beginners to the experienced. Members will teach anyone who is just starting out. For more information stop in at a meeting between 6 and 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of every month at the Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church in Highland Park or call Ricki at 242-1591.
