Accident - 5:28 p.m. - Feb. 12 - Police said a minor crash occurred at 501 S. Jefferson St., Mount Union, when John Neumann, 81, of Mount Union, drove his 1996 Oldsmobile through a lawn, hitting the corner of the neighbors porch. According to the report, the damage was minor and no injuries were reported.
Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown
Accident - 1:20 p.m. - March 13. - Police said an unknown vehicle and driver was pulling out of the Pallet Grocery Store parking lot onto Rockland Road, Fayette Township, and was attempting to travel west. According to a report, the vehicle pulled into the path of a 2005 Pontiac G6 driven by Taylor Knight, 22, of Mifflintown. Police said this caused Knight to drive off the road into an embankment to avoid a collision. Knight and her passenger Corey Quinn, 22, of Philadelphia, were uninjured in the crash.
DUI - 12:48 a.m. - March 15 - Police said a traffic stop was conducted on US Highway 522 South, Wayne Township, for a traffic violation. According to a report, a 22-year-old male, of Three Springs, was arrested for suspicion of DUI and Justin Renno, 18, of Lewistown, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said charges were filed on Renno, through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller's office, and charges against the male are pending laboratory results,
Theft - March 15, 8 p.m. - March 16, 7 a.m. - Police said an American flag was stolen from a flag pole that was in the front yard of the Pin Oak Road, Thompsontown Borough, residence owned by Dorothy Beatty, 73.
DUI - 2:43 a.m. - March 17 - Police said a traffic stop was conducted at 113 N. Juniata St., Lewistown Borough, and it was found that Michael Hill, 45, of Lewistown, was found to be under the influence and resisted arrest. According to a report, charges were filed on Hill through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller's office and Hill was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
