Act 64 Violation- 9 p.m. - Feb. 16 - Police said Trent Robert Maffei, 19, of Richfield, purchased two packets of heroin and delivered them to a 260 Westfall St, Fayette Township, location while in the company of a 17-year-old female. According to a report, Maffei was observed by a witness placing the heroin into a mailbox at this location, then fled the scene. Police said Maffei was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and corruption of a minor before Magisterial District Judge Barbara M. Lyter's office.
Theft - Feb. 22, 5 p.m. - Feb. 24, 3 p.m. - Police said unknown suspects went to County Line Beverage, Liverpool, and pried open the soda machine According to a report, once the machine was open the suspects removed the cash and fled the scene. If anyone has information, call 320-1010.
DUI - 11:48 a.m. - Feb. 23 - Police said a traffic stop was conducted at the US Highway 322 Boat Access, Fermanagh Township. According to a report, a 31-year-old male, of Etters, was found to be under the influence and charges are pending laboratory results through Magisterial District Judge Barbara M. Lyter's office.
Act 64 Violation - 12:35 p.m. - Feb. 25 - Police said a traffic stop was conducted on a 2012 Nissan Sedan for an equipment violation near the intersection of Mowery St, at state Route 35, Milford Township. According to a report, while the officer was speaking to the male occupants, he observed indicators of criminal activity. He also observed an open container inside of the vehicle, according to the report. Police said the vehicle owner gave consent for the officer to search the vehicle and during the search, two of the vehicle occupants were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. According to the report, charges will be filed on the individuals.
DUI - 1 a.m. - March 4 - Police said a traffic stop was conducted on Third Street at North Wayne Street, Lewistown Borough. According to a report, the 30-year-old Lewistown male driver was found to be driving under the influence and in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said charges are pending laboratory results through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller's office.
