PORT ROYAL - Anna Ruth Dullea, 93, formerly of Port Royal, died at 5:34 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at the Golden Living Center-William Penn, Lewistown.
Born on March 30, 1920, in Port Royal, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. Goodman and Bertha (Reader) Goodman. She was preceeded in death by her husband George H. "Reds" Dullea, on Jan. 23. 1993.
She is survived by her daughter Judy A. Armstrong and husband, Herman, of Mifflintown.
Anna Ruth was the last of her family having been preceeded in death by: brother Charles Goodman; three sisters Martha McLaughlin, Mildred Kochenderfer, and Leone McKee; and by two granddaughters Denise and Diane Hower.
She was a 1937 graduate of the Port Royal High School and had worked for the former Aumiller's Grocery Store in Port Royal. She was also a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church and the Capital City Polka Dancers in Harrisburg.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Charles L. Harshberger officiating. Internment will take place at the New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
