Belleville Mennonite School 2nd grader Jonathan Kowatch, left, places a piece of duct tape onto 3rd-grade teacher Jared Byler Friday afternoon in Belleville. Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade took a break from classes on Friday to raise funding for the Four Diamonds Fund, an initiative that raises funding for children with cancer and for cancer research. BMS Student Senate organizes fundraisers throughout the year to support this worthy cause. Students took part in donut eating contests, face painting, three point shooting contests, putting a pie in the face of superintendent Starla Fogleman, and duct taping Byler, 3rd grade teacher, to the wall.
