MIFFLINTOWN - Ryan K. Loudenslager, 45, of Mifflintown, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at his home.
Born on June 14, 1968, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he was the son of Stephen B. and Connie J. (Powell) Loudenslager, of Mifflin.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: two children, Haley N. Loudenslager and Dylan T. Loudenslager, both of Mifflintown; one brother, Bryan T. Loudenslager and his wife, Brenda, of Nacogdoches, Texas; two sisters, Amy B. Felmlee and her husband, Mark, of Lewistown, and Jaimee L. Stimley and her husband, Tom "TJ", of McVeytown; and he leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Loudenslager was a 1986 graduate of Juniata High School, Mifflintown, and a former volunteer firefighter.
Ryan was an avid sports enthusiast who followed football, baseball and NASCAR, but his true passion was for his children.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Pastor Michael Edwards officiating. Interment will be held after the service in the Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at the funeral home.
The family will provide all funeral flowers and kindly ask that donations be made to the First National Bank of Mifflintown, P.O. Box 96, Mifflintown, PA 17059, to help defray the funeral expenses.
