THOMPSONTOWN - A. Faye Stutts, 91, of Thompsontown, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born March 8, 1922, in Thompsontown, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Annie (Hostetler) Rowe. Her husband, Wadsworth "Wads" "Peg" S. Stutts, died on April 16, 2004.
She is survived by: one daughter, Lorraine Shaffer and her companion, Sam Sheaffer, of Millerstown; two sons, Larry Stutts and wife, Sharon, of Liverpool, and Roger Stutts and wife, Karen, of Thompsontown; five grandchildren, Todd Shaffer and wife, Allyson, Eric Shaffer, T.J. Stutts and wife, Stephanie, Brooke Stutts and Walker Stutts; and six great-grandchil- dren, Eric, Samantha, and Savanna Shaffer, Salene Shaffer, and Ethan and Reece Stutts.

She was preceded in death by: two sisters, Grace Weimer and Esther Allen; one brother, Rev. Dr. Harold Rowe; and one granddaughter-in-law, Cynthia Shaffer.
Faye graduated from Thompsontown High School and from Harrisburg Beauty School. She owned and operated Faye's Beauty Shop and was also very involved working at Stutt's Karts, the family business in Thompsontown.
She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Thompsontown, and Women of the Moose Lodge 925, Millerstown, and served on the Board of Elections in Thompsontown Borough.
She loved taking care of, not only her family, but also everyone in Thompsontown. She enjoyed following the go kart races, vacationing in Florida, and camping. She had many friends and good times at the Thompsontown Rod and Gun Club.
Her service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 19 N. Mill St., Thompsontown. Interment will follow in Thompsontown Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, at the church.
