LEWISTOWN - A winter weather advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Monday according to the National Weather Service in State College.
The advisory covers Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata Snyder and Perry counties, among others.
According to the NWS website, snow will turn to sleet and freezing rain this evening and early tonight over much of central Pennsylvania. Southern areas will likely turn to rain later tonight. Freezing rain will continue through early Monday morning before tapering off. An arctic frontal passage early next week will drop temperatures well below normal through the middle and end of next week.
