DANVILLE - Linda K. Tassa, 70, of Danville, died at 10:49 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at the Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
Born on March 25, 1943, in Burnham, she was a daughter of the late Charles Maxwell and Ida Catherine (Bickhart) McMinn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Albert R. Maben III.

Linda is survived by: her husband, Paul A. Tassa Jr., whom she married on Dec. 30, 1965; her children, Andrew W. Maben and wife, Karen, of New York, Paul A. Tassa III and wife, Velva, of Lewistown, and Tammy Tassa, of Danville; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Charles M. McMinn and wife, Corrine, of Idaho, and Alfred "Doodles" McMinn, of Reedsville.
Linda attended Parkview Church of the Brethren.
She enjoyed time with family and friends, liked crosswords and going to flea markets with Paul.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Kari Swigart officiating.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Cemetery.
