The Angels Among Us Walk/Run was held in Burnham on Oct. 13, to raise awareness for brain cancer, and to raise funds for the President Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University.
I am so thankful to those who made this event possible. A special thank you to my sister-in-law, Sandy Metz, who, along with others, initiated this successful event. Especially helpful where Stacy Falkner, Jane Stringer, John McCullough, and Sarah Aumiller of the Juniata Valley YMCA, and my brother-in-law, Buck Metz.
