REEDSVILLE - Paul R. Kahley, 72, of 66 Woodland Circle, Reedsville, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 27, 1941, in Lewistown, and was a son of the late Alvin E. Kahley and Irene Lily (Leister) Kahley. His wife, Mary M. (Wray) Kahley, whom he married on May 11, 1963, survives.
Also surviving are: sons, Paul Douglas Kahley and wife, Nikki, of Milroy, and Todd R. Kahley and wife, Jennifer, of Milroy; a daughter, Shani L. Caldwell and husband, Brent, of Brighton, Mich.; brothers, Robert Kahley and his wife, Renie, of Montgomery, and Charles Kahley and his wife, Cathy, of Maitland; sisters Jane Martz, of Lewistown and Helen Condron and her husband, Bill, of Milroy; and grandchildren, Jason Paul Kahley, Keni Jo Kahley, Cooper Mason Caldwell, Olivia P. Boaz, Noah T. Kahley and Gaige M. Kahley.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Zimmerman and Shirley Bishop, and one grandson, Matthew Paul Caldwell.
He was a 1958 graduate of the Lewistown High School.
He worked at the Royale Dairy and Marlette Homes in Lewistown. He retired with 20 years of service as a quality inspector at Jarden Plastic Solutions.
He enjoyed hunting, and especially fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Grace United Methodist Church, 101 Logan St., Lewistown, with Pastor Richard J. Bender officiating. There will be no viewing. Interment will be private at the Church Hill Cemetery in Reedsville.
