MIFFLINTOWN - The Juniata County Commissioners met Tuesday for a regular business meeting.
During the meeting, the board:
Approved the Federal Fiscal Year 2011 Citizen Corps Program Grant, submitted by William Hummel, emergency services operations and training officer.
Accepted the Emergency Management Performance Grant for federal fiscal year 2013, submitted by Allen Weaver, director of emergency services. The initial grant application was approved during official action on Feb. 19.
Approved the use of the County Records Improvement Fund to purchase one Dell OptiPlex 3010 computer system at a total cost of $799.98 for Barbara M. Lyter, magisterial district judge.
Ratified Juniata County Hazardous Materials check No. 1,168 in the amount of $15 to Casner's Service Center for tire repair.
Approved checks Nos. 38,485 through 38,520 in the amount of $38,082.19.
The Juniata County Commissioners meet at 10 a.m. each Tuesday at the Bousum Building in Mifflintown.
