CARLISLE - Kezia Loht scored twice and had an assist, the top offensive performer for Mifflin County in its second Mid-Penn Conference field hockey win of the season, a 4-1 decision over Commonwealth Division opponent Carlisle.
Hannah Kerstetter scored the first goal for the Huskies and Loht came next, guaranteeing Mifflin County would never trail in the contest. The Thundering Herd made it a 2-1 game before Loht tallied again.
Sarah Neff, who had a helper on the first goal, had the only score in the second, with Loht behind her. Grace Wagner had two assists in the game.
"It was good to get a win. The players continue to work hard," Mifflin County coach Tish Maclay said.
The varsity game was cut short by a couple minutes due to lightning, but the JV game was played. In that one, Marina Smith and Emma Aumiller teamed up for a game winner in a 2-1 outcome with six second left to play.
