BELLEVILLE - Two juveniles were injured in a crash involving their wooden wagon and a pick-up truck around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday along Waynesburg Road, according to an initial report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
Police said it appeared the two juveniles were moving the wagon across the road at the same time a pick-up truck was approaching, and the truck then collided with the wagon and pinned it against a utility pole. It is not yet known if either of the juveniles was actually in the wagon at the time of the accident. One of the juveniles was transported to Lewistown Hospital for treatment, while the other was flown via helicopter to an area trauma center.
Police are continuing their investigation of the crash. For the full story, see Wednesday's print and online editions of The Sentinel.
