BELLEVILLE - Arlene L. Reigle, 84, of Valley View Terrace, Belleville, and formerly of Fawn Road, Reedsville, died at 7:09 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at Valley View Haven.
Born Aug. 21, 1929, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Emma Louise (Alexander) Harmon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Joseph Reigle Sr., who died on May 30, 1991; three brothers and two sisters.
Arlene is survived by: her children, Deborah W. Beaver and husband, Thomas S., of Burnham, Diann K. Calvert, of Villas, N.J., James J. Reigle, Jr. and wife, Petra L., of Wake Forest, N.C.; grandchildren, Kimberly D. Specht and husband, Leonard, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Brandon S. Beaver, and wife, Deborah, of Mt. Laurel, N.J., Christopher S. Calvert, of Philadelphia, Jennifer Calvert, of Old Bridge, N.J.; Dominique Reigle and wife Amy, of Wake Forest, N.C., Bjorn Reigle and wife Kelly, of Weddington, N.C., Sven Reigle and wife, Tori, of Chesapeake Beach, Md; and great grandchildren, Zeth, Mason, Grant, Braelyn, Keira and Leith Specht, and Claire and Kyle Reigle.
She attended Milroy High School and was employed as a nurse's aide at William Penn Nursing Home for 17 years, retiring in 1992.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville, with Rev. Gerald Peachey officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Wormleysburg, PA 17043, and the American Cancer Society, 123 Sparks St., State College, PA 16801.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham.
