LEWISTOWN - Dyral (Park) Valentine, 82, of 31 Walnut Street, McVeytown, died at 9:04 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at the Lewistown Hospital.
She was born on June 12, 1931, in Newton Hamilton, the daughter of the late Edgar and Eunice (Berkstresser) Park.
She was united in marriage to Harold E. "Teenie" Valentine on June 13, 1953, in Newton Hamilton. Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 2013. Surviving are their two sons: Allen E. Valentine, of Fallston, Md., and Brian D. Valentine and wife, Sallie of Endwell, N.Y.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Allison, Michael, Lindsay, Nathan, Hannah, Emma and Ethan Valentine; as well as two sisters: Naomi Skipper, of Holiday, Fla., and Glendalene Aurand, of Lewistown.
She was preceded in death by three siblings: Melvin Park, Ruth Garlock, and Lena Rosenbery.
Mrs. Valentine was a graduate of Mount Union High School.
She had worked in payroll and accounting at the R.B. Madden Chevrolet garage. Following this, she had been employed for 25 years doing payroll for the MUAHS District office.
Mrs. Valentine was a member of the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Church, where she was active on various committees and had been a former church treasurer for 13 years.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Church, with Pastor Brian Myfelt officiating. Interment will be in the Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.
Friends will be received at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, on Sunday, Sept. 1, from 7 to 9 p.m.; and at the church on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m..
