LEWISTOWN - Donna L. Harden, 81, of Lewistown, died at 12:52 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at Lewistown Hospital.
Born Aug. 14, 1932, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Albert A. and Edna P. (Brown) Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin H. Harden, on July 24, 2005, and her sister, Bernice Solt.
Donna is survived by: her children, Franklin Harden and wife, Amy, of Boalsburg, Karen Cherry and husband, David, of Granville, Michele Lasher and husband, Larry, of Lewistown, Tracey McKee and husband, Timothy, of Reedsville, and Lisa Soccio and husband, Mike, of Lewistown; her grandchildren, David Cherry and wife, Jennifer, Tami Mattern and husband, Travis, Ryan Cherry, Christopher Hartley, Daniel Hartley, Chad Lasher, Brian Harden and Andrew Harden; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters, June Osborne and husband, Harry, of Burnham, and Lois Flood and husband, Richard, of Lewistown.
Donna attended Lewistown High School. Early in life, she was a waitress at the original Tony's Cottage Inn. She worked at Lewistown Borough Hall and then at Nationwide Insurance. She was the social butterfly at Michele's OIP in Reedsville.
She was a very active member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and had volunteered at Juniata Valley Boy Scouts of America.
Her funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 21 S. Main St., Lewistown, with Father David Zwifka officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Heller- Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham.
