Daniel E. ‘Rick’ Fultz

MIFFLINTOWN - Daniel E. "Rick" Fultz, 51, of Rockville, Mifflintown, died on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at his home.

Born on March 11, 1962, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he was a son of Daniel R. Lewis and his wife, Lula, of Burnham and Barbara (Greer) Fultz and her husband, Darwin, of Granville.

On April 13, 1985, he married his wife, Brenda K. (Swab) Fultz, with whom he shared more than 28 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by: two daughters, Abby Ingle and her husband, Ryan, of Thompsontown, and Brandy Warner and her husband, Nick, of Mifflintown; four brothers, Michael Fultz, Darwin Fultz and his wife, Brenda, and Steven Fultz, all of Granville, and Timothy Fultz and his wife, Kathy, of Lewistown; one sister, Dana Stine, of Granville; and he leaves behind three precious grandchildren, Ava Ingle, Tanner Ingle and Bentley Warner.

Mr. Fultz proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Crawford-Brubaker VFW Post 5863, Mifflintown, and the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Local No. 5, Harrisburg.

He was employed by Kauffman Construction, Mifflintown.

Rick was a passionate Steelers fan and was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. However, his greatest joy was the time he spent with his beloved grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. Nicholas A. Smith officiating. Full military burial honors will be accorded by the Juniata County Veterans Council after the service. Interment will be private.

There will be no viewing; however, family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the time of service Thursday, at the funeral home.
