Loise L. Haubert

MIFFLINTOWN - Loise L. Haubert, 95, of Bridges at Brookline, Mifflintown, and formerly of East Salem, died at 4 p.m. on Aug. 8, 2013, at Lewistown Hospital.

Born on Sept. 5, 1917, in Delaware Township, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and H. Pearl (Roper) Haubert.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews.

She is the last of her generation, having been preceded in death by three brothers, Clair Jordan, Harry K. Haubert and Max R. Haubert, and four sisters, Mary E. Frymoyer, Pauline Sweigart, Phyllis Nace and Maude Mengel.

Miss Haubert was a member of East Salem United Methodist Church, East Salem.

Loise was employed as a seamstress by the East Salem Shirt Factory.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at East Salem United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Joseph Yorks officiating. Interment will follow in the East Salem Cemetery.

A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

The family will provide all funeral flowers and kindly asks that memorial donations in Miss Haubert's memory be made to East Salem United Methodist Church, 7398 Route 235, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
