LEWISTOWN - From lights to decorations to furnishings, Home Sweet Home has everything area residents need to decorate their own home sweet home at an excellent price, said Owner Betty Mundy.
"Everything in the store has been purchased at a low price so I can sell it cheaper," Mundy said. "We have a big selection of just about everything. I like to say that people can find what they need here to redecorate a full room at under $300."
Mundy's store is stocked with candles, rugs, pillows, primitives, woodwork, antiques, quilts and restored furniture. The selection changes almost daily with large transitions each season, she said.

Betty Mundy offers a variety of new and used item at her store, Home Sweet Home, in downtown Lewistown.
"Most of my products are provided by local crafters and vendors from across Pennsylvania," Mundy said. "What furniture isn't brought to me through consignment, I find myself and refurbish it."
After crafting most of her life, Mundy decided to open the store on a whim and see what happened, she said. She started by selling furniture and slowly grew the variety based on customer interest. The goal was to provide home apparel at an affordable price, she said.
"Basically, everything you see is on sale," Mundy said. "From the curtains on the windows to the rugs on the floor. Everything is available for purchase."
