Larry Walker

DANVILLE - Larry Walker, 63, of Burnham, died on July 18, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born on March 8, 1950, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Eber and Marilyn (Carlson) Walker, and a foster son for 8 to 10 years to Gladys Brubaker and the late Earl Brubaker.

Larry is survived by: wife, Diane (Land) Walker, whom he married on May 19, 1986; children, Heather Walker, of Pennsville, N.J., Christopher Land, of Houtzdale, and Joseph Land, of Burnham; and siblings, Judy Grassmeyer and Marge Snook, both of Lewistown, and John Walker, of Granville.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Larry was a former member of Milroy Presbyterian Church.

He enjoyed working on the farm as a young man, and later, enjoyed his job as a truck driver.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Heller- Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Rev. Robert Zorn officiating.
