LEWISTOWN - A Lewistown man has been charged with indecent assault and another related charge for an alleged incident involving a then-14-to-15-year-old boy in 1979 or 1980, Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown report.
According to a police report, authorities determined, after an investigation that began this past December, that Harold E. "Cork" Leiter Jr. inappropriately touched a teen boy at his residence at the time along South Main Street when the boy was either 14 or 15 years old. The alleged incident happened in either 1979 or 1980, police said.
In addition to one count of indecent assault, Leiter was charged with one count of corruption of minors. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller's office.
