William ‘Don’ Jenkins

LEWISTOWN - William "Don" Jenkins, 55, of Lewistown, died at 5 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2013, at his home.

Born on Dec. 26, 1957, in Danville, Ky., he was a son of William Dudley and Leslie Doris (Carr) Jenkins.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Fawn (Deckard) Jenkins, whom he married on Aug. 5, 2002.

He is also survived by: children, Lyndsie Jenkins, of Lewistown, and William Jenkins, of Charleston, S.C.; stepchildren, Timothy and Phillip Aumiller, both of Lewistown; and two grandchildren, Bryson Ranck, of McVeytown, and Blake Aumiller, of Lewistown.

Don was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Kevin Jenkins.

He was a store manager at Lowe's, and previously, at Walmart.

Don attended First United Methodist Church, in Lewistown.

Don loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed gardening, watching basketball and especially rooting for Louisville.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at Heller- Hoenstine Funeral Homes Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Roz Mason officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
