LEWISTOWN - Lewistown Police Department arrested one adult and one juvenile after a foot chase, for breaking windows of residences early Monday morning, according to a report.
Police said Officer David Vallimont chased Caylon Winter, 18, and a 15-year-old, both of Lewistown, over fences and through backyards around 12:30 a.m. in the area of Green Avenue after they fled once being spotted by police.
According to the report, Vallimont tackled one male subject and ordered the second to stop, which he did.
Police said they received a report from a woman in a South Main Street residence that a rock had been thrown through her front window. When officers responded to the area of damage, they received another report of a window broken on South Brown Street, police said.
According to the report, Vallimont started checking streets and alleys when he noticed the two males nearby the Lewistown Intermediate School and Green Avenue and the chase ensued.
Police said Winter was charged with two counts of criminal mischief, public intoxication, under age consumption of alcohol and corruption of minors. Winter is awaiting district court action.
The 15-year-old was processed and released to a relative on criminal mischief and public intoxication charges, he is awaiting juvenile court action, police said.
Police said the investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
