Gerald L. ‘Jerry’ Berrier

MIFFLIN - Gerald L. "Jerry" Berrier, 58, of Mifflin, passed away on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born Sept. 25, 1954, in Lewistown, he was a son of John S. and Mary M. (Beward) Berrier, of Mifflin.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, John S. Berrier Jr. and wife, Trudy, of Honey Grove, and George S. Berrier and wife, Tina, of Mifflintown, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one nephew, Jason Berrier.

Jerry had been the plant manager at Empire Kosher, in Mount Union, for 25 years and was currently working at Armstrong.

He was a member of the Lewistown Moose and enjoyed camping, cooking, farming, hunting and excavating. Socializing with his family and friends was very important to him and he loved spending time with his dog, Mika.

His memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. James B. Wooster Jr. officiating. There will be no viewing.
