YEAGERTOWN - The Mifflin County Historical Society submitted a letter in support for changing the name of Derry Township Community Park back to Kish Park during the Derry Township Board of Supervisors meeting Monday.
The Board also said the shooting range ordinance has gone to Derry Township Planning Commission for review at their meeting on Dec. 27.
After recommendation from the Sewer Authority Board, Barry L. Marker has been reappointed to a five-year term by the board.
The Derry Township Board of Supervisors normally meets at 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month at its office in Yeagertown.
