MIFFLINTOWN - A 42-year-old Mifflintown man charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl waived a formal arraignment on Tuesday in the Juniata County Court of Common Pleas.
Police said they received information that Erik A. Guiser, of Mifflintown was possibly sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl. Pennsylvania State Police and Juniata County Children and Youth Services interviewed the girl where she alleged that she was sexually assaulted on numerous occasions between January and mid-August of 2012, according to court documents.
On the same day, Guiser was interviewed by a State Police Criminal Investigation Unit member, to whom he admitted to several incidents of sexual abuse, police said.

Guiser has been charged with statutory sexual assault and various other related charges.
Anthony Forray of the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office has been assigned to prosecute the case and Guiser is represented by Randall Zimmerman.
Guiser remains free on $25,000 bail. A trial date has not yet been set.
