BIRDSBORO - Richard Alan "Dick" Bainbridge, of Birdsboro, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the Mifflin Center/Rehab, in Shillington, where he was a patient since early November. His son, Rich was lovingly at his side.
Richard was born March 22, 1928, in Troy, N.Y., to John Bainbridge and Erma Wilhelm Bainbridge.
He is survived by: a sister, Jane McIntyre, of New Jersey; three children; 11 grand children; and two great-grandchildren
Dick loved his family and his home, always providing for them with love, and he spent 62 years married to the love and light of his life, Donna Jean, who is recently deceased. He had a deep love for God and spent many years actively involved in the church as a Sunday school teacher, choir director and soloist.
Dick enjoyed singing, golfing and hunting and enjoyed his retirement years with his beloved wife, Jean, watching the Phillies and working in the yard.
Richard was a member of Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mohnton.
