JUNIATA TERRACE - A Burnham man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon on charges relating to the sexual abuse of a now 13-year-old girl.
John T. Loner, 43, was taken into custody at a residence on Terrace Boulevard in Juniata Terrace, without incident, with a warrant for charges of rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, rape by forcible compulsion, statutory sexual assault, sexual assault and indecent exposure.
Charges were filed against Loner after a counselor from the Children's Resource Center interviewed the 13-year-old alleged victim, police said.

According to court documents, the alleged victim reported the abuse began when she was 5 years old and lasted through this past May.
Loner was interviewed by police after waiving and signing a Miranda warning and denied abusing the juvenile, court documents indicate.
Loner remains incarcerated in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
