BURNHAM - Rande G. Jones, 60, of 206 Sixth Ave., Burnham, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, in Lewistown.
Born Dec. 27, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of the late Glen and Mary Jones. He is survived by his wife, Darlene (Rager) Jones, whom he married on June 3, 1978.
Also surviving are his son, Jason G.E. Jones and wife, Marci, and their daughter, Hannah, of Mechanicsburg, and a brother, Mike Jones and wife, Julie, of Columbus, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Jones, and a sister, Mary Ann Fannon.
Rande served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his service time, he joined the National Guard.
He was a retired locomotive engineer for Amtrak.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his granddaughter. He also enjoyed running and was a sports enthusiast.
He was involved with the Gideon jail ministry. He was a former union representative for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen.
He attended the Burnham United Methodist Church and Grace United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held in his memory at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Locust Grove Mennonite Church, with Pastors Max Zook and Kent Vanderbort officiating.
His family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Friday, at the church.
Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Juniata Memorial Park.
