Police said on Nov. 12 Chicopee Police recovered the vehicle stolen from Lewistown parked and unoccupied near a cemetery. Police said the owner of the stolen vehicle was notified, traveled to Massachusetts and drove the vehicle home.

Police said on Nov. 14, Vermont State Police arrested Rivest on the warrants from Chicopee Police.

Police said on Dec. 6 Lewistown Police charged Rivest with theft of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of an automobile regarding the vehicle stolen from Sheetz on Nov. 9.

According to the report, police determined that Rivest was visiting a friend in Mifflin County prior to the theft of the vehicle.
